Introduced in September 2012, the iPod nano (7th generation) was taller and thinner than the iPod nano (6th generation), with a large 2.5" multi-touch screen, and a similar iOS-like user interface. It sold in eight colors (pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, silver, slate, and (PRODUCT) RED), with 16 GB of storage, for $149. In September 2014, slate was replaced with space gray. In July 2015, the colors were changed to blue, pink, silver, gold, slate, and (PRODUCT) RED.
