Released only in Japan, the Color Classic II improved on the original Color Classic by doubling both the processor speed to 33 MHz and the data path to 32-bit. Also added was stereo sound output. It was also released in the US as the Performa 275.

The Color Classic II (sold in Canada, Europe and Japan) used the same compact case as the Color Classic, but had a 32 bit data bus and a 36 MB RAM limit. A member of the LC series (like the Color Classic), the Color Classic II had an LCIII under the hood instead of the CC's LCII.
