Bibliography

Much of the information for this site came from the following:

Goodell, Jeff. "The Rise and Fall of Apple Inc." Rolling Stone issues 731, 732
Moritz, Michael, The Little Kingdom: The Private Story of Apple Computer. New York: William Morrow and Company, 1984.
Levy, Steven,Insanely Great: The Life and Times of Macintosh, the Computer That Changed Everything. New York: Viking, 1994

Many of the pictures came from Upgrading and Repairing Macs which was published in 1994 by Que Corporation. Some pictures came from Apple Facts Online (which is no longer available), some from the Rolling Stone article. Other pictures came from AppleDesign: The Work of the Apple Industrial Design Group, (Kunkel, Paul. 1997, Graphis) a truly great book. They are all public domain to my knowledge.

For the computer specifications, I used Apple Facts Online (no longer online), the Macintosh Museum at www.MacintoshOS.com, NewerRam's excellent (and unfortunately defunct) freeware product, GURU, and Apple's well maintained Spec Database. I also have used some information from EveryMac.com. For Newton information, I turned to the Newton Gallery.

All images should be properly attributed, with links to the original source when possible.
